because i tend
to think too much
i count   the minutes down
shake before   the   phone rings
in another space.
i'm trying to ignore these
flight or fright reactions.
 

that wasn't the word for it.
i ran into a glamourpussy at the restaurant
with tall dark exchangeables
on either side.

Elmersglue suits me just fine
because i tend
to stick old things together

Glamourpussies just bathe in the
   afternoon,   bask.
Even with   Open stretching  everywhere
I tend
to old flames
dry onions
early AM attacks.
 

Here is an offering, take it
