London
late for this one because
lost in London on the way home from
Oxford by way of Victoria Station through
Trafalgar Square the night life center of
the city decorated with the most litter of any
city and dense with young people young young
people kids who reject authority even though
the authority's been rejected and those people are
in charge being rejected no wonder it's a
confused fucked up place to be it's no
place for me no place for the country minded so
much history rejected left to waste even Big
Ben seems smaller in person not gargantuan
though in Oxford there are walls and even
alleys that must predate the school even the
oldest pub predates the school (which came
first? the school or the pub?) and yet this
old bastion of intellectualism has seen its
better days of scholars it has been replace
by young kids young young kids who must
find something to reject by God if it
means spiking their hair in colors like
they did in the 70s to carry on a
tradition some tradition any tradition
it seems they should be rebelling against
that instead of fighting other kids for
not drinking Tango like the commercial
says is there always a fight brewing?
perhaps if they changed the roads and
drove back on the right side it
would solve everything and no one would be
the wiser
