Exhausted still.
three nights ago worked the bar
     for CoCA
my heart beats fast ever since.
a fun job,
     if you can get the work.

how did another 3:15 roll around?
   I wasn't finished with
      last year's work.

mind full of nothing but 60s
     song lately. The Four tops
     Aretha, occasionally The Beatles,
   now half dead. a very
      limited selection.

     piping hot, someone said,
      under the decadent moon,
         we falter.
horsewhipped vengeance slows
     remarkably     time will
   take information from the
     two best sources.

Oh, that the dead should
     take over and set
   things right.

Is it that Republicans love
     war so much,
          or Christians?
we live in an oligarchy.
