Introduction

Last year when I participated in the 315-X I was 50 pages into the book I am still writing. Happy to say that now I am on page 128 and more than half way done with draft number 1 (I think). Still coming along slowly but surely, and I bet if I wasn't working a full time and a half job I would be able to write much more.

This year these poems, for the most part, seemed fun and light. There are a few that are heavy, but life can't always be a hot-air balloon ride. I'm just glad that my writing here may indicate that I'm not taking myself too seriously.

I really like that I wrote about individual people in my life. I've been really blessed with meeting and knowing fantastic people and it looks like my subconscious wanted me to write about them.

Also, I liked what I wrote much more the 2006 scribblings I made at 315. My favorite mornings in 2007 were: 4, 5, 9, 10, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, and 30.

Whelp, I guess I'll be waking up with ya'll next year!

I'M OUT!!!
